I worked on a hardfought campaign for a local dem. candidate for congress, and this race is still being counted, but the robocalls (funded by rich swiftboaters) had a big impact, as many callers said thay were enraged at calls all night from automatic call banks that they erroneously thought came from democrats. For the close races, this republican dirty trick had a big impact. neocxn

well, tomorrow is the big day, and I can't help thinking that some of these election machines are suspect. the fact that bush and rove are so optimistic and say they have inside intelligence on polls telling them this, means that the fix may be in. Course the intelligence people told them what they wanted to hear about Iraq TOO.
